A very tidy campsite near Lough Arrow. The wind was too strong for fly-fishing so we made do with a run and Caro did a bike ride. The surrounding hills are dotted with megalithic tombs and a long distance trail called The Miners Trail hints that the local economy relied on coal mining for around 400 years, until the last mine and associated power station closed near here in 1990.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
